Welcome to the new Burbage Village website, run by the Burbage News.
The Burbage News Editorial Team is looking for volunteers to join us for help in the following roles:
Community Pages Liaison: All local groups now have the opportunity to place and edit their own web-pages online. They may need some help and we would like to have an advisor who can liaise with groups and help them set up and maintain their pages (if needed). You would also assist with any magazine-related queries
Online News and Diary Editor: Doing exactly what it says on the tin! An editor is needed to keep the online Diary up to date and enter news items of interest to the community. You would also provide Updates (formerly 'Burbage Online'), BN Twitters, and organise the Diary pull-out page for the magazine
Event Organisers: We hope the annual 'Festive Celebration' for Christmas in the village hall is going to become a regular event, timed to coincide with the Christmas Tree Sale and Market weekend in future. However, some people come to us with some great event ideas but do not know where to start. The Burbage News would like to help! Bring back the Gala Week? Organise an outing? An evening's entertainment? Set up a Club? Does this sound interesting?

Although the role of monthly magazine design and creation is currently filled, we are eager to hear new ideas and will also give any interested individual the opportunity to create/edit an issue
